Stared working with bands in 1978 and had the pleasure of working with the Boyzz From Illinois. Their manager, Dan Davis taught me the business of promoting and management which took me a different way. I started promoting and booking bands and still worked with Dan Davis as he introduced me to a variety of bands from the Chicagoland area, as well as national bands. After all he taught me, I decided to launch Blizzard Promotions, and with a hand full of bands, most of which where local from the Midwest area. After many nights of going out and scouting for certain talent to fill my roster, I found myself with multiple categories of awesome talent from Original, Top 40, Blues, and Tribute bands. After some major health problems slowed me down for a couple of years, missing the music scene and my determination started Diamond Cut Productions. Over time, I had the pleasure of working with musicians like Dirty Dan Buck (from the Boyzz), Ted Aliota, Off Broadway, The Hounds, Steppin Wolf , Bitch, Theni, Mountian, UFO, Foghat, REO Speed Wagon, John Couger, Molly Hatchet, Jackyl, and many more. My personal favorites were: The Blizzard of Ozz, a Black Sabbath Tribute Band , Beggars Banquet, a Rolling Stones Tribute Band, Red Sky, a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band, and many other tribute bands that would take a while list. There were a few independent label bands like LyZ, Kevin M Buck, Dark Shift, Smoke, Lyden Moon, Sleezer, Pete Berwick, and many others. Recently came across a band out of Wisconsin, 2morrowevrafter. They put a 100% in what they do, including the hard work they currently are rockin’ out on there 2nd CD. Very soon, you will see them performing all over the Midwest region. I am also working with Better Day Parade, a Who Tribute Band, and Deep Shades of Purple, a Deep Purple Tribute Band. Thanks once again to the man that opened the door for me….Dan Davis.
